Ukulele Course for Children

Welcome!

Today we begin the Ukulele Course for Children! 

 What do children need in order to begin? 

1. An ukulele that is a REAL instrument (not a toy) 
2. A clip-on tuner or a tuning app on a phone
3. PDF songbook (optional)
4. Fretboard stickers (also optional, you can use stickers you have!)

Course objectives

Throughout this course children will:

• Hold an ukulele with proper poster
• Hold an ukulele with proper hand positioning
• Play chords
• Strum 
• Fingerpick melodies
• Tune using a clip-on tuner
• Tune using an app
• Play 20 songs
