Come to the 1st Oceanside Ukulele Festival!

On Saturday, October 10, 2026 Pepe Romero Jr. and the Oceanside Public Library are planning on hosting the inaugural Oceanside Ukulele Festival and you are officially invited!

The event T-shirt has the festival theme song written on the back so that we can read and play it while look at the back of each other's shirts! 

What to expect at the Oceanside Uke Fest:

Performances

The event will feature performances by Daniel Ho, Sophia Romero (Pepe's daughter) Adrian Demain, and Bernadette Plazola

Workshops 

There will be workshops for beginners and intermediate ukulele players

Food

There will be food trucks at the event!

Vendors

Come ready to buy your next set of strings, a new capo, or a new ukulele! Romero Creations and Ohana Music will have instruments available for purchase. 

Jamming

We will be playing our ukuleles throughout the day! Daniel Ho even wrote a theme song for this festival. Here's a video of Daniel and Bernadette playing the song during a recent trip to Greenland!

Here is the sheet music for the theme song. This is also printed as a large image on the entire back of the t-shirts! We will use the shirt of the person in front of us to read the song and play together!
