An Evening with Daniel Ho at The Muck!
Share
A few months ago, I received one of those texts that makes you stop what you're doing and smile. Daniel Ho invited me to join him and his band for a concert at the beautiful Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton, California šš©µ
If you've been following my musical adventures over the past year, you've probably seen little glimpses of what it's been like to perform alongside Daniel, from Temecula, to Nuuk, Greenland, to two sold-out performances at the San Francisco Jazz Festival.
Every performance has taught me something new, and I'm so grateful that Daniel continues to invite me to be part of these musical experiences.

For those of you who may not know Daniel, he is a six-time Grammy Award-winning musician, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends Hawaiian, jazz, classical, world music, and storytelling into something truly unique. Watching him perform is inspiring, not just because of his incredible musicianship, but because of the joy and kindness he brings to every audience.Ā

This concert is part of The Muck's summer performance series, and we'll be performing outdoors in one of the most beautiful venues in Southern California. If you've never visited the Muckenthaler Cultural Center before, you're in for a treat. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous, parking is free, and it's such a relaxing place to spend a summer evening.

I'll be playing saxophone alongside an amazing group of musicians:
- Daniel Ho ā piano, ukulele, guitar, and vocals
- Alexander Pierce ā bass and harmony vocals
- Randy Drake ā drums and percussion
- Me! ā alto saxophone
One of my favorite parts of performing with this group is that no two concerts are exactly alike. There are beautiful melodies, moments of improvisation, stories, laughter, and plenty of musical surprises along the way.

I would absolutely love the opportunity to say hello after the concert. Please don't be shy! One of my favorite parts of these events is getting to meet in person.
I hope to see you there for a wonderful evening of music!
See you soon,
Bernadette
